Business owners are complaining of “Zoom” fatigue, especially when it comes to attending online networking events, or multi-day conferences.
As a business owner in an online world, it is good to know what the options are for hosting online events that stand out and provide users with a memorable experience. One of the platforms that we would like to discuss is immersive virtual environments.
Most have heard of the “Metaverse” concept since Facebook changed their corporate name to Meta, in an attempt to expand their brand beyond their famous social media platform.
The “Metaverse” will be an alternate immersive virtual world where businesses can be represented as a virtual storefront, much like you might see inside a video game. All transactions will take place using digital currency such as cryptocurrency.
There are existing immersive virtual environments available today for business conferences and networking events that do not require attendees to enter an alternate virtual world via a headset. These environments are accessible via a desktop computer or mobile phone.
